Arthur Cressman, Jr.

Art is the founder of the firm and has been in the OCTG industry since 1978. From Conservative roots growing up in Kansas, Art has focused on quality products at competitive prices destined to the independent end user & concentrates on financial and supply side issues.

Art is an 8 year Navy veteran and enjoys flying his Piper Saratoga for both business and pleasure.


Vanessa Guthrie

Vanessa has been with Cressman Tubular since 2001 and has grown from a member of the Administrative Staff to Manager of Operations.

Vanessas duties include managing all administrative and operational functions, inventory control, freight and all aspects of International Letters of Credit to our worldwide manufacturing partners.

Vanessa is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Corporation and is the Senior Administrative Executive in our Corporate offices in Dallas .


Roy Price

Roy joined Cressman in 2008 as the corporate controller.  Roy is a CPA, CGMA, MBA with more than 25 years of accounting & finance experience. He brings a diverse background having been in management positions for small, entrepreneurial companies to Fortune 500 companies.

Roy began his career as an accountant with an independent oil & gas company; has been a financial planner; held management positions with AT&T, FedEx Kinkos, and DynCorp Intl.; and served as corporate controller for retail and manufacturing companies, prior to taking his current position at Cressman.


Perla Cacic

Perla has been with Cressman Tubular since March 2008 and is currently our Logistics and Transportation Coordinator. Perla brings some 25 years experience in transportation and logistics serving such companies as Nordstrom and MCI with both domestic and international freight expertise.

Born in Argentina, Perla is fluent in Spanish and offers our South American and Latin client base a bi-lingual professional to serve their tubular needs.


Artie Cressman

Artie is the Regional Sales Manager for West Texas, Rocky Mountains, and the Dakotas. He has extensive expertise in national sales and development programs, as well as implementation knowledge of Sales Force Effectiveness (CRM) programs. Previously, Artie lived in Atlanta, GA for 12 years. During that time, he was Vice President of Sales for The SearchLogix Group, a national executive search firm dedicated to supply chain optimization and logistics management. Prior, Artie had an extensive tenure with BMW North America. He was directly involved with piloting and implementing QMS (Quality Management Systems) for BMW. Previous companies also include American Honda Motor Co. and Delta Air Lines.

Artie is a published author of several articles relating to executive recruitment and attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX.


Ben Bryant

Ben is our account representative in Houston. He is responsible for accounts and customer service in Central, East and South Texas. His past experience includes positions as VP Sales and Production at Clark Tubular Services, an OCTG end finishing facility, and Production Manager at Fornax Industries overseeing OCTG tubing and casing processing including upset, heat treatment and end finishing.

Bens hobbies include golf, music and teaching his seven grandsons how to fish.


William Dozier

Mr. Dozier has served as a director of Basic Material & Independent Oil and Gas since December 2005 and serves as the Chairman of their Compensation Committee. Since 2005, Mr. Dozier has been an independent oil and gas consultant. From 1992 to 2005, Mr. Dozier served as Senior Vice President of Operations, and most recently as Senior Vice President for Business Development, for Vintage Petroleum, a large publicly traded independent oil and gas company acquired by Occidental Petroleum. From 1983 to 1992, he was Manager of Operations Engineering for Santa Fe Minerals. Mr. Dozier began his career with Amoco Production in 1975, working in all phases of production, reservoir evaluations, drilling and completions in the Mid-Continent and Gulf Coast areas. Since May 2009, Mr. Dozier serves on the Board of Directors of Pacific Asia Petroleum /CAMAC Energy, Inc. and serves as Chairman of the Technical Committee. In 2005, Mr. Dozier formed Extex Consulting, Inc. and maintains offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Houston, Texas. He is a licensed petroleum engineer with a B.S. Degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas.


Dustin Guinn

Mr. Guinn joined Viking International as the President in December 2010. Prior to being appointed President of Viking International he served in various capacities within The Mitchell Group and Viking from July 2006 to December 2010, in which responsibilities ranged from analysis and reporting on Mr. Mitchells personal portfolio to cash management and treasury functions at both the private and public companies. In addition to the treasury functions Mr. Guinn also served as the CFO of Viking Services; the U.S. based private energy service company controlled by the Mitchell Group. Prior to joining the Mitchell Group Mr. Guinn was the Chief Operating Officer of Sun-Belt Pump and Supply, a wholesale distribution company headquartered in Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Guinn graduated from New Mexico State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and earned a Masters degree in Business Administration from West Texas A&M University in 2005.


Al Zapanta

Mr. Zapanta is Founder, Member and Chief Executive Officer of PAZ Resources, with overall responsibilities of management of the executive staff and overall business strategy. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of PAZ Energy, a single purpose entity that participated in the DFW International Airport natural gas project. Mr. Zapanta worked in upstream operations of Atlantic Richfield Co. (ARCO Oil & Gas), and retired as Director of Governmental Affairs for ARCO where he was responsible for negotiations with U.S. and Mexican (PEMEX) governments on oil and gas matters, and coordinated ARCOs effort to deregulate the natural gas market which became law, the Natural Gas Policy Act (NGPA). Mr. Zapanta has held numerous Presidential appointments, including White House Fellow and Senate-confirmed Assistant Secretary of the Interior for Management and Administration. Mr. Zapanta is a retired 2-star Army General and is currently the President of the National Mexican American Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C.

He has a BA in Industrial Psychology, MA in Public Administration and has completed work for his PhD in International Political Economics from the University of Southern California. Mr. Zapanta graduated from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and the Inter-American Defense College at the National War College, Washington, D.C.
